Secret Service Film On The Way

Universal Pictures is developing an action film centering on the United States Secret Service says Deadline.

Gregory Poirier ("The Spy Next Door," "National Treasure: Book of Secrets") wrote the script based on an article by Laura Blumenfeld in the Washington Post Magazine titled The Making of an Agent

The writer went through the training program which included shooting weapons, hand-to-hand combat, psychological and other training methods.

Unlike other law-enforcement branches, applicants don't need a law enforcement background to apply.

Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher are set to produce.
