Michael Mann's next film could be a racing tale says THR
Based on author A.J. Baime's book Go Like Hell he film traces the now legendary 1966 Le Mans Grand Prix which turned into a fierce contest between Ford and Ferrari, and ultimately saw Ford become the first American team to achieve victory in France
Jason D. Keller wrote the adapted screenplay.
Brad Pitt is said to be circling the lead role, however no casting decisions have been made yet.
Alex Young and Lucas Foster will produce.
Mann is also attached to helm a number of of projects such as "Big Tuna," "Waiting For Robert Capa" and "Agincourt" among others.
It will be interesting to see if this one revs up first
