Robert Zemeckis' first live-action film in over a decade will seemingly be Flight" according to The Los Angeles Times.
Denzel Washington is poised to play a pilot that rescues his passengers from a dangerous situation but who turns out not to be as heroic as he appears as his negligence (due to an addiction) was partly responsible for the danger in the first place.
While no one isconfirming this story the pic could begin shooting in the Fall.
Zemeckis has previously been linked with a time-travel movie called "Replay" and a "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"-esque hybrid called "An Animated American."
His last live-action film was 2000's Cast Away as he's spent much of the past decade filming mo-cap films like 2009's A Christmas Carol nd others
