
Terms of the settlement with Whitmill weren't disclosed, but Whitmill's lawyer, Geoff Gerber, tells The Hollywood Reporter that the two sides have "amicably resolved their dispute."
The tattoo artist tried to halt the film's May release and was denied, but studio bosses at Warner Bros. were ready to digitally alter Helms' fake face tattoo if the lawsuit was not resolved by the time the film's DVD was released.
