Here's a peek at the remake of 80's classic Footloose And as you watch you wll note the film seems to use more than a few iconic beats from the past

The story follows a rebellious high school outsider named Ren (Kenny Wormald) who moves to a new town where the local Reverend Shaw Moore (Dennis Quaid) despises the music the kids of his sleepy Southern town listen to and tries to ban rock and roll music. Ren and his love interest (Julianne Hough) proceed to shake things up. Andie MacDowell plays Vi Moore, the wife of the reverend.

The new film is adapted and directed by Craig Brewer will be released October 14.
