Booth & Lerman Are Sons Of "Noah"

Douglas Booth and Logan Lerman have joined the cast of Darren Aronofsky's upcoming biblical epic "Noah" says Deadline.

The story is that of a man (Russell Crowe) who must build an Ark to save all of creation from a coming flood.

Booth and Lerman will play sons Shem and Ham respectively.

Jennifer Connelly and Saoirse Ronan co-star.

The "Black Swan" director was also said to be after Liam Neeson for another role in the project but that casting is still just speculative at this point. In a interview, cinematographer Matthew Libatique revealed that the story will also have a villain... Perhaps Neeson is the person they want to cast in that role?

Aronofsky & Ari Handel, wrote the original script for "Noah," but they evenually handed re-writing duties to John Logan (The Last Samurai, Gladiator).

Aronofsky, Mary Parent and Scott Franklin are producing the pic.

Production could start this Summer to meet its March 28th 2014 U.S. release date.
