The film is said to be in the vein of Pulp Fiction and The Big Lebowski
The Adam Minarovich script deals with a variety of characters linked by a small pawn shop in a town in the American Deep South. These include a man whose wife was abducted, white supremacist meth heads, and a washed up Elvis Presley impersonator.
"The Cooler" director Wayne Kramer is calling the shots.
Walker, Jordan Schur, David Mimran, Nick Thurlow and Steven Schneider are producing.
Production is just about to get underway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
