Albert Brooks will play the villain in the thriller "Drive says Deadline.An adaptation of James Sallis' novel, Ryan Gosling plays a Hollywood stunt driver who moonlights as a getaway driver for thieves. When a bank heist goes wrong, he ends up on the run with a contract on his head and an ex-con’s girlfriend (The recently cast Carey Mulligan) in his car.
Brooks will play Bernie Rose, a New York mobster who has moved to L.A. and is not to be messed with.
Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston has been cast.
