Sophie Turner Is "Mary Shelley's Monster"

"Game of Thrones" actress Sophie Turner has signed on to play Frankenstein author Mary Shelley   in the biopic "Mary Shelley's Monster" says Deadline.


The story follows the young author as she enters into a Faustian pact with her monstrous alter ego, winning literary acclaim at a high cost.

Jeremy Irvine will play Mary's husband the poet Percy Shelley with Taissa Farmiga as Mary's stepsister Claire Clairmont.

 Coky Giedroyc is set to direct the picture using  Deborah Baxtrom script.

Rose Ganguzza (Kill Your Darlings), J. Todd Harris (The Family Tree) Marc Marcum and Damon Lane are producing the film.

Production is set to start later this year in the UK and Malta.

 Elle Fanning ("Maleficent") is set to also star as the author Shelley in the period bio-romance "A Storm in the Stars"
