Steve Carell has been tipped to star in the film that will blend live-action and CGI in a movie that explores Looney Tunes's fictional Acme Corporation, known for making dangerous products.
Glenn Ficarra and John Requa in talks to direct. If a deal is finalized, the directors will reunite with Steve Carell, who starred in their 2011 romantic comedy "Crazy, Stupid, Love".
Plot details are being kept under wraps. It will not, center on the Looney Tunes characters.
Dan Lin and Roy Lee ("The Lego Movie") will produce.
