The story follows three childhood best friends who reunite in New York City for their annual tradition of going on on Christmas Eve.
50/50 director Jonathan Levine and stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen will reunite on the film. Gordon-Levitt Rogen and Captain America: The Winter Soldier star Anthony Mackie play the trio of chums.
Caplan will play Diana, a love interest for JGL's character. Bell will play the wife of Rogen’s character who supplies the group with drugs.
Levine wrote the screenplay and will direct. the picture.
Rogen, his pal Evan Goldberg and James Weaver will produce the film.
Nathan Kahane Joseph Drake Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir are executive producing here.
Production begins next week in New York City.
