***IESB offers up a status report on Superman: Man of Steel

"We've also been hearing sources at WB Burbank who believe that The Man of Steel is picking up speed and since the strike ended various "A" list writers have gone in with promising pitches. Bryan Singer is still attached and the studio big wigs are stillcounting on him directing the sequel"

***Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris Klein Smallville's Kristin Kreuk and Rick Yune have been cast in "Street Fighter," based on the popular Japanese video game series reports Variety.

Shooting on the latest incarnation,Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li takes place in Bangkok, Hong Kong and Vancouver and is set to start in March.
