Good Old Boys

Steven Spielberg and Will Smith may collaborate on a remake of the hugely popular 2003 Korean action hit "Oldboy" reports Variety.

The original flick sees a man get kidnapped and is imprisoned for 15 years without explanation.

Suddenly, he's released, given money, a cell phone and clothes and sets out to discover who destroyed his life so that he can take revenge.

Smith would play the kidnapped man. Spielberg is looking for a writer to adapt. The film will probably get underway once Spielberg finishes his directorial duties on the first "Tintin" film.

The pair worked together on the Men in Black films as star/producer....But if Spielberg calls action here...Great things are in the offing
