Punisher: War Zone star Ray Stevenson has joined the cast of the sci-fi thriller The Book of Eli reports Variety.Stevenson will play an enforcer dispatched to kill Eli (Denzel Washington) as he fights his way across the American wasteland, protecting a sacred book that may hold the key to saving humanity.
Allen and Albert Hughes direct the flick which begins shooting in February.
