Harrison Ford is in place while Rachel McAdamsis in negotiations to star in the comedy "Morning Glory" reports Variety.McAdams would play an aspiring news producer who tries to save a failing morning show by getting control of its feuding anchors.
Ford will play one of the anchors, and the other will be set shortly.
Aline Brosh McKenna ("The Devil Wears Prada) wrote the script.
Roger Mitchell.will call action with J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk producing.
Ford hasn't done a decent comedy since Working Girl 20 years ago. Sounds like it could have the flavor of the short-lived (and very funny) sit-com Back To You...
