Marcel Sarmiento and Gadi Harel will write and direct a remake of Jannik Johansen's 2005 Danish thriller Mørke according to The Hollywood Reporter.The story follows a journalist's investigation into his sister's mysterious death on her wedding night and the whereabouts of her missing fiance.
Anders Thomas Jensen and Jannik Johansen co-wrote the original film.
