Paramount has landed an untitled female buddy comedy pitch from actress Anna Faris and her House Bunny writers Karen McCullah Lutz & Kirsten Smith says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story follows two estranged sisters who team up to land a husband. The trio will executive produce for Adam Sandler's production company Happy Madison.
Meanwhile, Sony Pictures has acquired the romantic comedy "20 Times a Lady" based on the book by Karyn Bosnak- as a starring vehicle for Faris.
The story centers on a woman who goes on a trek through her sexual past hoping to find Mr. Right, exploring the idea that a person's sexual quota and whether those numbers matter.
Noted TV sit-com writers Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan adapted the script.
