Controversial director Oliver Stone has been at work for six months on an untitled documentary about Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez says Variety.



Apparently Stone wants to explore "the South American revolution"

He has been spending time with Chavez, and the director was around when he helped negotiate hostages from the militant Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia group.

Might we expect an oppressor like Chavez to come out looking like a good guy....given that Stone and Hugo are pals...As opposed to the way he treated the outgoing POTUS in W

Stone hopes to have the doc ready for next year.
