One of my mom's favorite actors Van Johnson ,a popular Hollywood star in the '40s and '50s with such films as "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo ," "A Guy Named Joe" and the military classic"The Caine Mutiny ," died Friday of natural causes. He was 92.
Growing up I remember seeing him on countless TV shows like "Murder, She Wrote" , the 80's reboot of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" ,"The Love Boat" , "Fantasy Island" and "Quincy M.E."
