Redeeming Quality

Industry favorite Brian Dennehy steps behind the camera to direct the fact-based drama "Redemption" says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story follows Joyce Ann Brown, who spent more than nine years in prison for a 1980 fur store robbery and murder in Dallas that she didn't commit--While Jim McCluskey--a crusader for the wrongly convicted, who fought for her release.

Dennehy wrote the screenplay with Joe Seldner McCloskey will co produce. Shooting kicks off this Spring.

I have been a Dennehy fan since I first saw him in the comedy caper Foul Play on cable as a kid playing Chevy Chase's police partner Fergie...I'm glad, after a long career he finally gets to call action.
