18-year-old British actress Kaya Scodelario (TV's "Skins," "Moon") lands the lead role of Cathy in the new adaptation of "Wuthering Heights" says The Playlist. Emily Brontë's classic 1847 novel is a tempestuous love story about obsessive passion across the class divide, set on the Yorkshire Moors. The tale has been adapted for film and TV more than a dozen times.
Fish Tank director Andrea Arnold will call the shots from Olivia Hetreed's adapted script.
The search is still on for the role of Heathcliff.
