Rodrigo Santoro is in talks to join the action thriller "The Last Stand" says Latino Review.
Directed by Jee-woon Kim--who is making his English language debut--the film follows a sheriff in a small town (Arnold Schwarzenegger), who is the last one standing up against a Mexican drug cartel, which has escaped from a courtroom. Peter Stormare will play Burrell, a seasoned war veteran who carries out the villain's orders and leads a crew of men to take down Arnie and his fellow officers.
Santoro would play a rookie cop named Frank Martinez
Andrew Knauer wrote the spec script which Jeffrey Nachmanoff and George Nolfi polished.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing the pic
Production is set to kick off next month.
