The film is a modern version of "Days of Wine and Roses",--starring Jack Lemmon and Lee Remmick
Winstead and Paul would play a married couple with a shared penchant for drinking who have their lives turned upside down when Winstead's character decides to go sober. Spencer would play a friend and Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor of Winstead. Offerman would play an assistant principal at an elementary school.
Susan Burke co-wrote the script with director James Ponsoldt ("Off the Black") .
Jonathan Schwartz, Jennifer Cochis and Andrea Sperling will produce.
