Producer Megan Ellison and star Arnold Schwarzenegger want to put the first of two "Terminator" flicks in production during the fourth quarter of 2012.
The scheduling conflicts with Lin's commitment to call action on The Fast and the Furious 6 but he has left the door open to stay if Ellison and Schwarzenegger will wait. He has reportedly been working on the project over the past few months.
Ellison’s Annapurna Films won the film rights to the Terminator franchise back in May.
