The original film, directed by Pascal Bourdiaux and starring Gilbert Melki as a “mild-mannered banker forced to masquerade as a notorious gangster and pimp.”
Bad Santa 2 writer, Johnny Rosenthal sold his pitch using the premise to actor Ben Stiller’s production company. In this version Helms will play two characters, Chapelle and Ace le Mac who just happen to be unknowingly to the other twin brothers.
A director is not attached yet. Stiller will produce the pic with Stuart Cornfeld and Guy Stodel.
