Ron Howard's adaptation of Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" will get made eventually...
Producer Brian Grazer told The Playlist some major budget cuts have been made which he thinks will be enough to get going on the project
“We found a way to cut out $45 million out of the budget without changing the scope and actually giving it a good ending. In the $140 million draft, the ending wasn’t quite as satisfying. Now, we’ve got $45 million, $50 million out of the way and a really satisfying ending. It’s gonna get made”
Grazer didn’t elaborate as to if this budget he refers to is the first movie, the whole trilogy, the TV series or more - or if the original plans for the presentation remains
Howard is now working on the racing biopic Rush
