Walker May Hit The Bricks

Paul Walker is negotiating to star in the action-thriller "Brick Mansions", a remake of the popular French film "District B13", says Deadline.

Walker would play a detective trying to track down a stolen weapon of mass destruction in the ghetto dubbed Brick Mansions. He enlists the help of Lino (David Belle), a fearless man who knows the slum like the back of his hand.

Belle starred in the original pic and invented the sport of Parkour which is used heavily throughout the film and its sequel.

Taken duo Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen are writing the adapted script.

One of Besson's protege's will call the shots

Walker would most likely do the film before takning on The Fast and the Furious 6.
