Adams Helps Shovel The B.S.

Amy Adams will re-team with David O. Russell on his untitled drama that was formerly known as "American Bullsh*t" says THR.

The true story centers on con artist Mel Weinberg (Bradley Cooper) who worked with the FBI in a far-reaching corruption case that stretched from Atlantic City to Washington, DC. Jeremy Renner is in talks to play Jimmy Boyle, the Fed agent who busts con artist and then partners with him in the sting.

 Adams will play Maxine "Max" Gardner, Weinberg's mistress and co-conspirator.

Eric Singer wrote the script

Megan Ellison, Charles Roven, Richard Suckle and Ted Schipper will produce the film.

Shooting kicks off in February.
