Kitsch Feels The Need For Speed?

Taylor Kitsch has reportedly been offered the lead role in the film adaptation of the Electronic Arts best-selling video game franchise "Need for Speed" says Zap2It.

George and John Gatins are writing the script from which Scott Waugh ("Act of Valor") would call action,

As a rival to the "Fast and Furious" film series, 'Need' has sold over 100 million copies of the eighteen games in the series, making it the most successful racing video game series in the world.

John Gatins and EA will produce the film.

The studio has denied an offer has been made, although insiders claim he is the only contender for the part.
