The story centers on a woman fresh off a relationship with a liar and an all-around bad person. When she meets a new guy who is actually a good catch, he must endure the overprotective nature of her friends and family.
The pair, who worked on the Vince Vaughn comedy Couples Retreat, will produce this.
It's is based on their original idea. Fox, who wrote such comedy hits as What Happens in Vegas--wrote a treatment for Gaulntlet but is not expected to write the screenplay.
The project is in the early development stage and is currently out to writers.
