Khoury's Origin Gets Told

A film adaptation of 22 year old author Jessica Khoury's upcoming young adult novel "Origin" is in the works says Heat Vision.

The story follows Pia, a young woman created to be immortal by a scientist somewhere in the Amazon jungle. On her 17th birthday, she escapes her compound, meets a village boy and goes on an adventure to find the truth of her origin.

Scott Steindorff and Dylan Russell will produce the adaptation.

The book is due to hit retailers on September 4th.
