Wasikowska Replaces Stone In "Crimson Peak"

Mia Wasikowska is in talks to step into the role Emma Stone was originally attached to play in the gothic horror film "Crimson Peak" says The Wrap. Stone was forced to vacate the role over a scheduling issue.

Guillermo del Toro and Lucinda Coxon  (The Heart of Me, The Eternal Not) are rewriting the original script by del Toro and Matthew Robbins that is described as a classic ghost story with a modern twist. It will center on a woman (Wasikowska) who suspects her husband is hiding something,

Charlie Hunnam, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jessica Chastain also star.

del Toro will also direct the pic with cameras set to roll early next year
