"How To Build A Girl" Becomes A Film

ScreenDaily reports that Monumental Pictures has acquired the film rights to famed columnist Caitlin Moran's bestselling and vaguely autobiographical novel "How To Build A Girl".

The story follows Wolverhampton-born teenager Johanna Morrigan, who moves to London and reinvents herself as a sexually adventurous music critic.

Moran and John Niven are writing the adapted script.

Alison Owen and Debra Hayward will produce the pic.
