Based upon Skip Hollandsworth's article for Texas Monthly the action follows the Catt family of Houston, who made a living robbing banks until their crimes caught up with them.
Author Nick Hornby will pen the adapted script
Ivan Reitman, Helen Estabrook and Ali Bell will produce.
The younger Reitman is not expected to work on the project until after he wraps his duties on the upcoming original Hulu series "Casual".
