Kingsley will play an experienced fighter pilot who is in command of Britain's first manned mission to space at the height of the Cold War. He ends up alone in space with a malfunctioning capsule, and in unusual communication with both the U.S. and Soviet Russia.
Lisa Greenwood and Joseph Baird also star.
Andrew Martin’s directing his first feature from his own script.
Paul Forrest is producing the film.
