Caro's 'Cup

Whale Rider and North Country director Niki Caro is set to call action on the drama "Buttercup" accorsing to The Hollywood Reporter.

Alice O'Neil's script sees a middle-age man who has messed up in life tryng to get himself together after his wife passes away.

"Alice writes with such a light touch, which is what makes you want to take a journey with the characters," says producer Brian Koppelman.

Michael London will also produce.
