Jennifer Aniston has added yet another pic to her already crowed plate--she will star in The Goree Girls, says Variety.
Based on a 2003 article, the story follows the eight female prisoners in 1940's Texas who formed one of the first all-female Country & Western acts in the USA. They soon became a public favorite and were eventually pardoned.
"Grey Gardens" writer and director Michael Sucsy will make his feature length directorial debut on the movie
Aniston, Rick Schwartz Aaron Kaufman and Kristin Hahn. will produce.
Sucsy will pen a new script, originally drafted by Margaret Nagle and rewritten by John Lee Hancock.
Shooting kicks off in January.
