Hob-Nobber

Glenn Close will pull triple duty to bring her famous stage role to the screen in a film version of the 1980's Broadway costume drama "The Singular Life of Albert Nobbs" says Screen Daily.

Set around a luxury hotel in Dublin in the 19th century, the drama has Close playing a woman who impersonates a man to survive.

Orlando Bloom, Michael Gambon and Janet McTeer also star.

Rodrigo Garcia ("Nine Lives," "Things You Can Tell Just By Looking at Her") directs from a script co-written by Close.

Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn will produce.

Filming kicks off in July.
