Pals Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are in negotiations for a first-look producing deal at Warner Bros.with their reformed production company says the Vulture Blog.
The name of the company isn't decided, though they may decide to go back to the old title of LivePlanet which they setup with Chris Moore and Sean Bailey, a decade ago and had a deal with Disney until 2007.
This makes sense for Affleck because he has been pursuing his writing/directing projects more these days and such an arrangement provides good opportunities for him to pursue more adult drama/thriller genre work.
Damon has expressed interest in directing films sometime in the future.
Damon has done such projects as Invictus and The Informant! for the studio. Affleck co-wrote, directed and stars in his next film, The Town for the studio. It is releasing the film in September.
The friends won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay after teaming up to write 1997 drama Good Will Hunting, but they have not reunited on the big screen since.
