Michael Sucsy (Grey Gardens) will re-write the script and direct "The Vow" says Variety. The film will follow real life couple Kim and Krickitt Carpenter who had a car accident two months after their wedding.
Kim loses her memory due to the accident and struggles to rebuild her identity as husband Krickitt tries to win her heart all over again.
Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein wrote the earlier draft.
