Tse Enters The Realm

The Fourth Realm Trilogy, a series of sci-fi novels by author John Twelve Hawks is headed to the big screen says The Hollywood Reporter.

The first book The Traveler, takes place in an alternate U.S. society that is under constant surveillance by a secret organization. Travelers are a now nearly extinct group of people who can "project their spirit into other dimensions".

The main plot follows Maya, a reluctant Harlequin (guardians of the Travelers) who must protect two Traveler brothers who are somewhat naive.

"Watchmen" co-scribe Alex Tse will adapt the script.

Gil Netter and Andrew R. Tennenbaum are producing the adaptation

The books are best sellers, bouyed by the mysterious author who is so reclusive neither his editor or agent has ever met him.
