Saxton Is A Snobby Student For Teacher

Charlie Saxton of the cable comedy Hung has signed on to the indie The English Teacher says Risky Biz


In the film, Julianne Moore will play a popular high school English teacher whose personal life pales in comparison to the energy she brings to her teaching. When a promising former pupil (Michael Angarano) returns home after failing as a playwright in New York, she suggests her high school perform his unproduced play.

Saxton will play Will, a snobby, preppy actor who is one of the teacher's students.

Greg Kinnear co-stars as does Nathan Lane who plays a drama tutor whom Moore turns to for help in crafting a stronger play

Dan Chariton and Stacy Chariton wrote the script from which Craig Zisk's making his feature directorial debut.

Naomi Despres, Robert Salerno Matthew E. Chausse and Ben LeClair are set to produce the indie comedy.
