Hector Joins "Blood Ties"

Jamie Hector ("The Wire") has joined Guillaume Canet's 1970's-set crime thriller "Blood Ties" says Collider.


An adaptation of the French novel "Les Liens du sang", the story centers on a younger brother (Billy Crudup) who has to ask his ex-convict older brother (Clive Owen,) to go back into the underworld to help out the family.

Zoe Saldana and Marion Cotillard are set to play love interests. Matthias Schoenaerts has been offered a role in the film.Noah Emmerich  Mila Kunis  and James Caan co-star.

Canet who starred in the 2008 French film version and James Gray co-wrote the adapted script.

Alain Attal and John Lesher will produce the pic.

Production is currently underway in New York.
