Wahlberg Is A Disciple?

Universal Pictures has won a bidding war for Tyler Marceca's spec script "The Disciple Program" with Mark Wahlberg attached to star reports Variety.

Walhberg would play a man investigating his wife's mysterious death only to find out it goes much deeper than he imagined.

Morten Tyldum ("Headhunters ") is set to direct while Wahlberg and Steve Levinson will produce.

The pic was previously set up by producer Joel Silver and actor Bradley Cooper but the project changed when Wahlberg and Tyldum came on re-writes occurred.
