Trio Joins "Monster Butler"

Dominic Monaghan, Gary Oldman and Joanne Whalley have joined the indie crime biopic "Monster Butler" reports Heat Vision.


The film tells the true story of Roy Fontaine (aka Archibald Hall-played here by Malcolm McDowell), a bisexual jewel thief, con artist and serial killer who chronicles his personal descent into darkness leading up to his eventual capture.

Oldman will portray Wiggy, a taxidermist with anger issues who partners with Fontaine on a number of crimes before things get heavy.

Monaghan will play David Wright, Roy's Achilles' heel. Their relationship begins in prison and restarts when they both work on an estate.

Douglas Rath will call action using a script by Peter Bellwood.

McDowell, Diane Da Silva and Chris Roe are producing the film

Production kicks off June 6th in Scotland
