Bond: Skyfall Wraps & Blu-Ray Set Deets

Principal production on the next James Bond film-Skyfall wrapped this week in Turkey reports MI6.

Star Daniel Craig reportedly finished up this past Saturday and was spotted flying out to New York City on Sunday.

Second unit photography is still taking place this week in Adana in southern Turkey where scenes for the pre-credit sequence take place. Shooting on the film began in early November, making this the longest shoot for a Bond film since 1969's "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".

This means the pic should have a meaty run time Most Bond features clock in at a little over two hours, but the previous the previous film "Quantum of Solace" ran for just 106 minutes-- producer Michael G. Wilson was on BBC One - Breakfast where he talked about that- "It'll probably be longer, although we really don't know until we edit it and put it together. I think it'll be a two hour plus film."

Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Judi Dench, Simon Russell Beale, Rhys Ifans, Helen McCrory Ben Whishaw Tonia Sotiropoulou and Rory Kinnear also star.

In the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time--Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Sam Mendes directs from a script by Patrick Marber John Logan Neal Purvis and Robert Wade

Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are producing the film.

The sequel arrives in theaters on November 9, 2012.

Meantime the details of the "Bond 50 " Blu-ray collection have been released.

The mega-set brings together all twenty-two official Bond  films on Blu-ray including nine that have not been previously released individually There's approximately 122 hours of in-depth bonus features, the full list of which can be found at Blu-ray.com. The set arrives in the fall

I posted this product trailer back in January--but I think it bears another go...
