Batman v Superman-DOJ Blinks For Cap 3 But Everybody Wins

Warner Bros has  moved the release date of DC Entertainment's Zack Snyder directed superhero team-up film called "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" by several weeks from a May 6th 2016 to March 25th 2016.

The change avoids a direct head to head confrontation with "Captain America 3" which staked out the May 6th 2016 release date some time ago.

It was expected that one of the films would move, and with 'Dawn' already in production it has the ability to go earlier.

The studio also announced the release schedule this afternoon for their DC Cinematic Universe.
The slate kicks off with "Dawn of Justice" on its new date of March 25th 2016. After that--NINE DC Comics based films have slotted dates over the next five years.

All are untitled. At the same time, the studio has announced dates for two untitled "event" films.
