"Beetlejuice 2" Inches Closer To Being A Realty

Coming Soon spoke with Tim Burton who is out on the stump promoting the biopic "Big Eyes" and they asked him about the status of Beetlejuice 2 the sequel to his 1988 supernatural comedy.

At last report, Seth Grahame-Smith is at work on the script. Co-star Winona Ryder has said that she is up for reprising her role as Lydia Deetz. Current awards season contender Michael Keaton is keen on playing the title character again

Burton says:  "It's a character that I love and I miss and I miss actually working with Michael. There's only one Beetlejuice.  We're working on a script and I think it's probably closer than ever and I'd love to work with him again."
