The story is set in East L.A. and centers on the Lowrider cars and street tagging sub-culture and centers on a teen named Danny who is caught between his traditional father and his estranged brother, Ghost, who are both competing in the annual low-rider “Supershow.”
Peltz replaces Lily Collins, who had previously been attached, for the role of Lorelei.
Demian Bichir is set to play the lead in the pic that co-stars Eva Longoria
Ricardo de Montreuil is on board to direct using a script, written by Josh Bierne-Gordon and Justin Tipping. Cheo Hodari Coker and Elgin James wrote previous drafts of the script.
Brian Grazer Jason Blum. Kim Roth and Alexandre Dauman and Couper Samuelson will produce the movie.
