Sienna Miller Tipped For "The Lost City Of Z"

The Los Angeles Times (via The Playlist) reports that "G.I. Joe" and "American Sniper" co-star Sienna Miller will join the adventure biopic drama The Lost City of Z.

Based upon author David Grann's book--It follows British explorer Col. Percy Harrison Fawcett (Sherlock and "Star Trek Into Darkness" star Benedict Cumberbatch), who was attempting to find the so-called City of Z when he and his party disappeared in 1925. Over the next 70 years, different explorers tried and failed to retrace Fawcett's steps.

Robert Pattinson plays Henry Costin, a bored British corporal who answers Fawcett’s advertisement for a jungle adventure abroad. Miller will likely play Fawcett’s wife.

James Gray (We Own the Night) is set to direct the pic using his own adapted script.

The project has been in development for a while, with Brad Pitt set to star at one point . Now Brad will only produce the pic with Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Anthony Katagas.
